I am the website administrator for an amateur theatre society. On the website there is a facility for booking seats on-line. It’s in an HTML file with a Form used to take and Submit data.

While I understand that Perl language is nearly always used to communicate between the user and the server, I hear that Visual Basic can also be used, and since programming in VB is something of a hobby for me, I’d really appreciate some help. My efforts so far to find some direction have been fruitless.

I’ve downloaded Perl sample scripting off the Internet, but cannot manage to get it all working. Nor can I find anything where VB is used. Can anyone suggest a VB scripting solution?

Please help.
