Am using web browser control... but while using IE8... progress bar,tab title bar are not working.
I wrote coding for tat in c#....But its working in IE5...

I'm getting an error on that last line:

The error message is as follows:
Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.

Looked at the return packet from the server, and I noticed that the innertext of the error was as follows:
The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)

Also, I retrieved the GUIDs you see in the above code by using the utility available here:

And in my google quests, most answers revolved around making sure the Web Service reference is added to the MOSS subsite, not the root site. I want to say now, that I've been careful to attach to the correct site.

EDIT: Mark's Syntax Highlighter took all or most of the spaces out of my code. Try to ignore that, I'm compiling just fine, no code syntax errors.

Please send me the C# code to configure SMTP........!!!!

Hi,

I have some images that has to be displayed on a form from a dynamic folder using control array. The controls display 5X3, that is 15 images on one form. How do I display the next set of images using Next button, and go back to the previous set using the Previous button, if there are more than 15 files in the folder.

Hi all, don't know if you remember or followed a topic called:
"I am looking to hire a programmer to create the following code in c#."

I took it on although the output wasn't great, here's an updated version WITH source in C++, the project's created using a free compiler named DEV C++ -> http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html.

Screenshots of the actual program;

Basically what it does is that it creates a new donut-shaped form around the cursor with the purpose to help people with some sort of eye distortion. There's alot to be done for further releases, such as the use of settings in order to change the opacity manually etc...

The program pausesby hitting PAUSE-key, resume by press again.

I just found this the other day and they are talking about making a OS in C#. Is this reallty possible?

I looked at some of the screen shots that they have and its not bad and all but if its really true can you also code a GUI into it. I would like to create mu own OS but everywhere I look I need to know ASM which is really confusing and C++ which I'm trying to learn now.

Error while accessing EXE to client machine

Dear All,

I have created one application with C#.Net with single form.
On this form i have taken Crystal report viewer and i include one report in this.
This application is running on Server.I have taken EXE of this application on client machine. It give following error,

"Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.EnvironmentPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=btta5c561934e089 failed.'"

Can anybody suggest me how to solve this problem ?

Settings Help?

I have been making a program in VB.NET (2008) and am tring to learn C#. I want to make the same program in C# and have some troubles with my.settings.

I have two forms (vb.net). One form has textbox's that are binding to my.settings. When the user types in a web address in urltextbox and the name of the website in urlnametextbox the settings are binded to the other form with buttons that connect to my browser so the the user can just click the button to take them to the website that is binded to that setting....

on form 2 (code for the button)

I would like to learn the same thing with C# but see that it's different. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

Hi all,

I'm creating a progam in C# that reads a file location at start up and displays the parent folders in a combo box. This file location may change in future. So I intend to keep this in an xml file and allow the user to change it when needed. But how do I go about it? I have not done any coding with xml yet. So, please help.

I am looking to hire a programmer to create the following code in c#.

Project is to have a blank form follow my cursor around my entire computer screen with
an offsett location of 100 pixels x 100 pixels from cursor. Whenever I leftclick my mouse anywhere on computer screen the form stops following the mouse cursor for 2 seconds and then resumes following the mouse cursor.For experience c# programmer I cant imagine it taking more than couple hours if that?
I am newbie to c# and cant figure out how to do it.
Anyone willing to help? How much you charge?

Hello There,

I am working with c# & I have used two textbox server control.
1> Registration Date
2> Expiry Date
First of all, user enters value for the first textbox namely Registration Date and then the expiry date should be auto calculated by adding 30 days into currently entered registration date when he user leaves the first textbox.

That means there are two textboxes - user enters the value for first textbox and the second textbox should be auto calcuated on lost focus event of first textbox.
So pls let me know..... Waiting for your answer....

Hello,

I have created an application in C#.Net 2005 that sends Email with simple text messages as well as with attachment. Even user can send Email using Outlook from the application.

Now I want to enhance the application by giving extra features, like...

If I'm sending mail from outlook from the application, I can show a symbol of my application on Outlook window.

And I can store all the selected messages of Outlook to my application's database by clicking on that application symbol.

Any idea / sample for this enhancement???

I have a double array, the problem is that I want the decimal to show even when the value is say "10", but it only shows decimal when there is actually something after the decimal point like it would show the value "10.02" but NOT "10.00". Can anyone help me with this???

DataGrid Problem

Hi everyone,

i m suhel doing my final semister project at PCS. i m right now working on C#. Quite interesting and challanging language. i found that there is not much discussion going on C#. No probs. I have one problem. I am using DataGrid, in which putting controls like TextBox, DropDown, Label, CheckBox. and putting value from database in some of them control and in some other controls accessing values from control and saving them in database. For example the value entered by user in textbox or selected index of dropdown , i m storing in database. Now the problem is i am not getting the value of CheckBox. it always shows false even if it is checked. i m using FindControl method to get control from datagrid. and it is always taking new Checkbox. so the default value is unchecked. If any one came through same problem and have a solution then plz reply.
